Hello everyone! To finish up this week, we wanted to bring you another edition of the Employee Spotlight Series! This time around, our focus is on Steve Meyer! Steve started at SpendMend in September of 2019 and is an Auditor. Some fun facts about Steve are that he enjoys golfing, wakeboarding, boating, card games and he has a brother who also works at SpendMend. Steve keeps pretty busy during the summer months, as he’s either at the lake getting towed behind his Four Winns boat, or on the golf course sinking birdie putts. Steve’s go-to spot for boating and wakeboarding is Monterey Lake, so if you’re ever in the area keep your eyes peeled! Golf has been apart of Steve’s life for over 20 years, and he plays in a league every Monday night at the Saskatoon golf course with SpendMend colleagues RogerRJJoshHutch, Sean, Kevin, and Nathan! Outside of his hobbies, Steve also likes to spend time with his family during his spare time. Steve comes from a big family, as he is the youngest of 7 and also has 17 nieces and nephews followed by 17 great nieces and nephews! Needless to say, the grocery bill for family get togethers can be pretty steep! Steve does a great job at SpendMend and can always be counted on. He is a member of the illustrious Red Pod and has led the red pod in claims back-to-back months before! When asking around the red pod about Steve, it was clear he is a key member of the team. Dan “Hutch” Hutchins, Audit Manager, said “Steve Meyer is a great asset to our team.  Steve looks to take on new challenges in his quest for personal and professional growth.  Steve’s organizational skills and his willingness to take on new tasks are keys to his continued success.” It was great getting to know a little more about Steve and we really appreciate all the hard work he does! Thank you, Steve!
